Vibe Coding Course in Switzerland: German, Online, CHF

A German-language vibe coding course from Switzerland: what you build, what it costs in francs, what the certificate says, where your data is stored and who it suits.

A laptop shows a simple contact list with follow-up status, next to a terminal with an AI agent running.

If you are looking for a German-language vibe coding course in Switzerland, the online academy BUILT IN CLASS offers Vibe Coding Foundation: an entry point for adults with no programming experience, priced in Swiss francs and finishing with a written project exam. In the course you use Claude Code or Codex to build a contact and follow-up app, and once you pass the exam you receive a private academy certificate.

This article explains what actually happens in the course, what you pay, what the certificate says, where your data is processed and who the course is worth it for.

What a Swiss online academy offers here

BUILT IN CLASS is an online academy run by G6 Agency AG, based in Baar. Vibe coding means developing software with the help of AI. You don't write every line yourself. Instead, you describe to an AI agent what it should build, then check whether the result is correct. The Foundation level stands for carrying out a clearly defined task with guidance.

The course runs entirely online and at your own pace. There are no fixed dates and no videos to watch along with. You work through missions instead. Each mission has:

  • a goal, for example a detail view for a contact,
  • a planned time,
  • criteria in the form of tests,
  • hints at three levels, in case you get stuck.

On your own computer, a command checks whether your app meets the criteria. What counts, though, is the check on the academy's server, which runs in an isolated environment without network access. Alongside this, you keep an AI log: you note what the AI contributed and what you changed yourself. That helps you explain your solution later on.

Course language German: what stays in English

Instructions, missions and exam questions are in German. The code itself and many messages from the tools are in English. If an error message appears in the terminal when you start the app, it will be in English.

This is less of an obstacle than it sounds. You don't need to be able to translate the message to work with it. Often it is enough to copy it in full and give it to your AI agent, along with a short description of what you were just trying to do. A basic reading knowledge of English does make day-to-day work in the course calmer, though.

How Vibe Coding Foundation is structured

The practical project is a contact and follow-up app for a small company, a kind of lead list with sample data. You build it step by step:

  1. Mission 0 (1 h): set up your computer, AI access and the starter project, then start the app. You can read this mission freely in advance: Mission 0, setting up the tools.
  2. Mission 1 (2 h): turn an idea into a clear brief. Who is the app for, and what should it be able to do?
  3. Mission 2 (4 h): build the interface, meaning the contact list and detail view.
  4. Mission 3 (5 h): save contacts, validate input, and add status changes and filters.
  5. Mission 4 (5 h): connect the app to a simulated interface and practise how it handles empty responses, errors and waiting times.
  6. Mission 5 (4 h): narrow down and fix prepared bugs, and check basic access cases.
  7. Mission 6 (4 h): document the project so that others can start and understand the app.
  8. Mission 7, Transfer (3 h): export overdue follow-ups as a CSV file and test the new feature.

Together with the exam, that adds up to around 30 hours of planned time. One possible pace is six weeks at about five hours a week. Access lasts three months, so you have some leeway if a week falls through. You can find all missions and their goals in the course overview.

Along the way you collect badges and points: 12 badges, 1500 XP and 5 levels. Eleven badges are awarded in missions 1 to 6, and the twelfth after you pass the transfer mission.

How much does the course cost in francs?

The course with project exam costs CHF 199 as a one-off payment including VAT. This covers three months of access, all missions and checks, and one attempt at the project exam with a competence report. A further exam attempt costs CHF 149 as a one-off payment including VAT. Details are under price and what's included.

Important for your planning: you work with Claude Code or Codex through your own account. Its costs come on top of the course price and are not included. So check before you start which access you want to use.

For teams, places can be paid by invoice, and on request there is a shared course group with a coordinated exam window. More on this in the offer for companies.

Certificate and exam: what the credential says

The exam is written and fully online, with no interview and no appointment. You can start it once Mission 6 has been passed on the server, your full name is in your profile and you have an exam attempt available. When you start, your project state is frozen.

You then have 14 days for six questions: five about your own project and one transfer question. Each answer is 300 to 3000 characters long, and you can save drafts as you go. A question might, for example, ask how your app behaves when the interface doesn't respond, and why you solved it that way.

Assessment follows a 100-point rubric that you can view in advance: exam rubric. An AI (Claude by Anthropic) prepares the assessment. An examiner reviews your answers, your code and this suggestion, sets the points and releases the result, with the aim of doing so within five working days. The AI decides nothing. You can read the full exam procedure beforehand.

Four skills are assessed:

  • breaking a work task down into verifiable steps and describing them as acceptance cases,
  • building a simple application with an AI agent and changing it in a traceable way,
  • testing and securing error cases, data validation, access and secrets,
  • explaining your own solution, naming its limits and applying it to a new requirement.

Once you pass the exam, you receive a private academy certificate from BUILT IN CLASS. It states the programme level, the assessed skills and the date. A verification link lets others confirm the programme, version, date and status. It is not a state qualification, and there is no identity check: the credential refers to the work submitted under your account.

Where is your data processed?

The academy's servers are in the EU. Submissions are checked in isolation and deleted on request. For the pre-assessment in the exam, your answers and excerpts from your project are sent to Anthropic in the USA. You should know this before you write your answers.

The learning project itself stores data in the browser and works with sample data. It is not a product for real company data. So don't enter real customer contacts in the contact list. Building your own company application is not part of the course.

Who the course is worth it for

The course is a good fit if these points apply to you:

  • You are at least 18 years old and have little or no programming experience.
  • You want to understand how an application is built, rather than just getting a finished result.
  • You like working independently and without fixed dates.
  • You have a laptop or desktop running Windows, macOS or Linux and are allowed to install programs on it.
  • You are prepared to set up Node.js version 20 or later and Git.
  • You can plan around 30 hours within three months.

The course is less suitable if you are looking for a finished solution for real company data, need a state-recognised diploma or prefer to learn in a live class with videos. And if you already program regularly, you will mostly find familiar material at Foundation level.

For small teams, starting together can make sense if several people are to learn the same way of working with AI agents: describing tasks clearly, testing results, naming limits.
