Certificates
A qualification proves assessed work, not clicked lessons.
A qualification proves what work was submitted under an account, against which version it was assessed and who approved it. It does not claim state recognition or a verified identity unless a corresponding check took place.
Lesson progress, an achievement and a passed competence certificate are separate pieces of evidence. A purchase, a click on Done or many XP do not issue a certificate.
All courses are held in German: lessons, support and exams. This page is a translated overview. Code and many tool messages are in English.
The qualifications
Each programme has its own published exam description with points and minimum scores. For Foundation, the process and rubric are online today.

- Vibe Coding Foundation Teens certificate. Equivalence with the adult qualification will only be stated after a comparison by subject experts. In preparation.
How a certificate comes about
- Rules beforehandProject requirements, rubric, permitted aids, minimum scores, deadlines, resubmission and costs are fixed before the exam starts.
- AdmissionEnrolment, course version, prerequisite tasks and an available exam attempt are checked.
- Securing the stateYour submission is recorded with its version and the applicable rubric. Later course changes do not alter your exam.
- Preparing the assessmentAutomated checks provide technical evidence. An AI can generate follow-up questions and a reasoned assessment proposal. Both remain separate from the decision.
- A person decidesAn authorised assessor sees the work, criteria and proposals, sets the points, justifies critical results and decides: passed, resubmission or not passed.
- Issuing the certificateOnly a valid pass decision produces the certificate, and exactly one.
- Correction possibleTechnical errors, justified objections and name corrections follow a documented process. Earlier decisions and their reasoning are kept.
What the certificate states
- Issuer and brand
- The participant name used
- Formal programme name and skill level
- Assessed skills and the project
- Date of the decision and the course and exam version
- Unique certificate number and status
- Verification address and the responsible approval
The certificate is available as a PDF and as a verification page on the web. The design does not give the false impression of an official document. A sample is clearly marked Muster (sample) and has no working verification link.
Verification and status
The verification address lets you look up the programme, version, date and status of a certificate. The link is random and not sequential. The public view contains only the details needed for verification. There is no public searchable list of all graduates.
A certificate can later be corrected, replaced or revoked. An invalid or revoked number no longer appears as valid in the online check. Certificates of minors are private by default.
The duration of access to the learning area does not end an issued certificate. The certificate remains verifiable even if course access has expired.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a state-recognised qualification?
No. The certificate is a private qualification from BUILT IN CLASS. It documents the course, the skills assessed and the assessment passed. It does not promise state recognition or equivalence with a university degree.
Is it enough to click through all the lessons?
No. For the qualification, the project, the required evidence and the exam count. Which aids are permitted and which criteria apply is explained beforehand.
May I use AI in the exam?
The rules are given with the respective exam. In essence, you must be able to explain your application and your decisions. An automatic assessment alone does not issue a certificate.
Is my identity checked?
The Foundation exam is taken in writing and without an ID check. The certificate therefore refers to the work submitted and assessed under your account.
What happens to the certificate after course access ends?
The duration of access to the learning area and the status of an issued certificate are separate. The certificate remains verifiable. Revocation, corrections or any validity period that has been agreed follow the published certificate rules.
